We are pleased to invite you to ECHDO’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will be held on the 9-10th of March 2018 in Leicester (UK) at the College Court (College Court Conference Centre, Knighton Road, Leicester, LE2 3UF). Prior the AGM there will be AEPC’s psycho-social working group’s meeting (7–9th of March) and we recommend that organisations join both meetings if possible.
The easiest way to get to Leicester is to fly either to LONDON or BIRMINGHAM. The nearest airport is East Midlands Airport, but Leicester can be reached easily from Birmingham Airport, Stansted Airport, Luton Airport and Heathrow by bus or train. It takes about 2 hours to travel from London to Leicester by train.
The Annual General Meeting will be held at the College Court. The price for a single room is 70 pounds/night. Rate includes breakfast. The price is valid for whole stay if you choose to come earlier and/or stay longer. To make a reservation, send an email to reservations(at)collegecourt.co.uk. If you want to attend both AEPC and ECHDO meeting from 6/7-10/11th of March use reference 22340 at the top of the email. If you want to just attend the ECHDO meeting arriving on th 8/9 and departing on the 10/11 you need to use reference number 41601. There is limited amount of the rooms so act fast to ensure your room from the location.

Call of possible board members
There are currently two open seats on the ECHDO board. Please contact us if you are interested to join the board. Please note that at the time being, ECHDO does not have the possibility to pay travelling costs or other expenses, so the representatives’ own organisation or individuals need to fund travelling and lodging expenses to attend meetings.
Also this year we have availabilities for AGM bursaries. If the representative of your organization would like to attend the AGM, but cannot afford the costs, please send us your application, and the board will evaluate your request. Given our current budget, we can allocate a total of 1000 euros for bursaries (5 bursaries of 200 euros each). If you would like to apply for a bursary, proof of economic adversity would be appreciated. The board will finalise decision on bursary applications by the end of February 2018.
On behalf of ECHDO board,
